Monday made it!

http://4thgradefrolics.blogspot.com/

I'm pretty excited to be linking up with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics for my first #mondaymadeit. I was running pretty behind, but here it is!

Navy and cream chevron maxi!
So, I've been looking at a stack of fabric 2 feet tall for the past two months. It's ridiculous I know. I bought it when it was on sale, but I've just been way to busy (and possibly intimidated) to start on anything. But today, I dove right in. With chevron of all things. What I was thinking?!?! Matching up chevron is a chore. Meh...it turned out ok.I'm seriously worried if someone is looking close enough at my backside to notice that my chevrons don't match up.   Honestly, it turned out better than I thought. My cute little maxi is going to get some serious wear-time (is that a word?) during lake vacay this week and Florida next week.

 Taco Soup
So, the hubs requested two BIG pots of taco soup to take to work tomorrow to feed the guys he works with. Enter my made it #2.It has browned hamburger and onions, pinto beans, ranch style beans, rotel, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, corn, a packet of ranch, and a packet of taco seasoning. I think it's closer to a chili, but his grandmother calls it soup, so soup it is. It was oh so yummy topped with cheese and eaten with tortilla chips!

More of a re-made it. So I'm not really sure who chooses the interior fabrics for campers, but seriously what were they thinking?

Our camper is a 2000 something model (I don't really remember). This is what the valances, the thingys over the window, look like. It makes me cringe a little. We bought the camper last year and are headed out to the lake later this week. I couldn't take it anymore. Something had to be done. I started this project last week, but I just finished part of it today. I completely recovered all of the valances.

This picture is from last week, when I finished the first valance and curtain. I forgot to take a picture today, so this will have to suffice. Before: dusty rose valances/ white curtains with dusty rose trim. After: navy valances/ with aqua, navy, lime, and blue polka dots. I love it! Now, I've just gotta finish the rest of my curtains tomorrow!

My last made it this week is a set of mini notecards. I love writing notes. I love cute stuff. I love bright colors. This brings them all together in one fabulous little bundle.

These lovely little notecards (9 in all, the patterned ones are also included in landscape mode) are in my tpt store for free. ---->  Free mini notes!

So that's all for my first monday made it. I hope you enjoyed!
