Plan with Me Sunday: Sunday Fun Day

Woo hoo! It's Plan with me Sunday. This week I've decided it's a Sunday Fun Day because of the awesome giveaway that's going on! You don't want to miss this. No seriously, it's going to be fabulous!

As usual, this lovely linky is hosted by Kreative in Kindergarten and Keeping up with Mrs. Harris.

This week I'm going to share something important with you...a pen review. I love pens. Like L.O.V.E, love PENS! I buy them constantly. I have a favorite, or a couple of favorites actually, but I'll share that with you in a little bit!

I'm going to give you my quick and honest opinion of 8 different pens that I had on hand at home. I have a BUNCH more at school, but a Saturday night run to school was not in my plans. In light of those facts, please excuse my junky low-light photo of the actual writing.
1. Papermate liquid flair pens. These pens come in 8 bright, fun, colors. These pens write very smoothly. They make grading and planning a lot of fun. I'm not quick to grab these though. I like them, but I'm a huge fan of thin tip pens. These are what I would consider a medium point pen. They would probably be great for those of you that like this size of tip. My rating: 8/10

2. Papermate inkjoy. The colors for these are ok. They're not phenomenal in my opinion. They writing decently smooth, but definitely aren't as smooth as some others. My rating: 6/10

3. Sharpie pens. These are nice. They write smoothly, but something they don't write as well for me because of the angle of my writing. They're a little awkward if you try to write at too much of an angle. My rating: 7/10
4. Uniball Vision Elite: These pens are ohhhh sooo smooth. I love the smoothness of these. I would say that they glide more than "write". They're lovely. I just wish these came in a finer point. They're a medium tip. My rating: 8/10

5. Infinity writing tools: Can you guess why these lured me in? Bright colors: yes! Fine tip: yes! Ergonomic grip: yes please! However, they're a bit of a let down. They're not as smooth as the others and just feel ... meh...cheap. My rating: 5/10

6. Pilot G2 07 point: I really really like clicky pens. Oh yes. I love these colors, minus the burgundy (which is a personal preference). These pens writing smoothly at almost any angle. They're lovely. These are definitely one of my go to pens. However, I really do prefer a finer tip. My rating: 8/10 Which leads up to numbers 7 & 8.

7. Pilot G-2 05 point: These pens are my best friend. Don't get me wrong, I love bright colored, felt-tip pens, but signing professional documents in hot pink or turquoise doesn't usually go over very well. So when, I'm at work, when I'm signing documents, or when I'm jotting quick notes, these pens are my go to. They're smooth, fine tip, and easy to toss in my bag. My rating: 10/10

8. Staedtler triplus fineliners: These are my go-tos for color coordinating in my planners, penning cute notes, and fun grading. These pens have .03 point tip. They're felt, so they really write well at almost all angles. They're bright, fun, and fit well in my hand. These are my favorite fun pens. My rating 10/10.

Here's a sample of how each of these pens write for me. Sorry about my messy quick handwriting. I promise it doesn't always look like that.

So as you can see, I have a favorite PLAIN pen and favorite FUN pens. Do you have a favorite pen? Have you tried any of the pens that I showcased above? Opinions?
